Lazy July Days...

Well honestly we haven't been up to much around here... honestly I have been bored out of my freaking mind, but there isn't much to do at 8 months pregnant in 110 degree weather when you live in a flipping apartment with all your stuff in storage... (sorry I may be a tiny bit annoyed at life lol mostly because I have nothing to "nest" and prep and am at my limit of having a non scheduled organized life) I had my 8 month app. this past Monday, and so far things look ok... I wasn't checked so we don't technically know if I have dilated which means no bed rest yet, but the baby does appear to have dropped already, and apparently I am too stressed lol, but it hasn't effected the baby's stress levels so I am suppose to relax--I told her that probably wasn't happening anytime soon because worrying about the house closing is still 4-5 weeks out. And FYI the baby still does NOT have a name which is also driving me crazy lol. 

We have been to a few birthday parties lately so here are some pictures from those-- first was Malaysia's 1st birthday party and then we had Layla's 4th birthday party & we had my Grandma's birthday dinner!

I am still in shock from the {sweet} dinner some of my close friends from high school, and Kristin of course put together last night to celebrate all things PINK and GIRLY! I thought I was meeting 2 friends for dinner just to catch up, and when I got to the table there were 6 waiting, which kind of threw me, and I really did not even get it at first lol, but once I realized what was going on I just could not believe they had done this--it almost made me want to tear up lol, but if you know me you know I am not a crier so I contained myself:) Burp cloths, a blanket, a shirt, bows, diamond ring rattles and the CUTEST dress ever all were in the pretty gift bags that sat at the table. I am still in shock at how lucky I am to have such good friends from high school, and am so happy I have these few pics(we did awful at taking pics) to put in her baby book under the Baby Shower/Celebrations tab, which by the way I don't think they should include in all baby books because do you really have a shower with every kid lol??

 

So this dress is 1 strap and has the BIGGEST bow ever--which I LOVE!!!

Swimming in March

So I mustered up the courage to take the boys (alone) to the public pool lol--well we went with the Johnson's but I meant no other adult for my 2! Actually to my surprise it was quite relaxing and I will for sure do it again! Might I add that 14 weeks pregnant is not a ideal time to go to the public pool lol--I don't have a distinct belly so it just looks like I have ate too much lately lol.

We headed over to Children's Museum today with The Nolans today-- {Thanks for MiMi & PaPa for such an awesome gift!!!}. Hallie and I were out numbered 4 to 2 lol so it was CRAZY, but the kids all love it there!!! Needless to say we all WANTED a nap after:) While we were there we ran into another friend from high school so that was fun for the kids.

Presley's Birthday Party!

I know I have totally been slacking on the blogging lately, but wedding season is here and is taking up all my free time lol! Anyways I had a wedding EARLY this morning (9am ceremony so a VERY freaking early set up lol) and then after that it was off to Presley's birthday party which was BEYOND ADORABLE--I love having creative friends lol!!!! It was a ice cream theme and everything was so cute & frilly & pink!!!

*Side note I have had like 50 people ask where Trey's birthday party pics are--they are coming but there is a magazine that is looking to publish the party in our city and I am waiting on the final rules ect. on when I can release them:)

Sleep Over...

Kristin & Preston had a free resort stay and dinner at Ruth Chris for Preston's work so we took Presley for the night... They don't have a ton of family here and how could they pass that offer up??? We have never had anyone spend the night and Presley had never spent the night other that her NaNa's so I was a little nervous, but all the kids went down GREAT--and other than my kids sleep in and she does not lol all went well!!!

4th of July!

Well unfortunately we were here in AZ for the 4th this year--I LOVE the 4th in San Diego it's so much more fun with the beach, the water, the cook outs, the cooler weather, and a million other reasons, but we made the most of it and the lovely monsoon actually made for amazing weather for watching the fireworks. I actually did not get very festive with the food/desserts this year because I booked a last minute baby shower this week that is in 2 weeks and it's quite elaborate so all my crafting and planning has gone toward that! We had The Stillman's over to BBQ and swim and then went to the park down the street which actually has a HUGE turnout for fireworks. The kids had so much fun literally swimming the whole afternoon away, and my Mom joined us for fireworks which is always nice! So it was a pretty nice day and as long as the kids have sweet memories and our little family is starting to form traditions I can't ask for much more...
