Real bath time!

I love how we can give Trey real baths now in the tub without his plastic newborn one--it's so much more fun to watch him splash around and play with his toys! (I realize he probably should have been able to do this for awhile now but someone is kind of lazy when it comes to using his stomach muscles)

So this is what happens...

So it was breakfast time for Trey and he was sitting in his highchair and had finished half of his carton of yogurt--so I was letting him have a little break and drink his water when I turned around for 2 minutes and this is what I came back to-an upside down yogurt container with yogurt dripping down the highchair to the floor and Trey finger painting with it all over his face and PJ's while rubbing his sippy cup and spoon in it! Well I learned my lesson I no longer can leave anything on the tray like I used to-LOL!!!! (sorry no pics of the floor the dog got there too fast and cleaned it for me)

Valentine's Day with my BOYS!

You would never guess he was sick...

Well since Trey was sick for obvious reasons we had a pretty low key day hanging out at the house. MiMi promised as soon as he is better though that we could go out on a date! It was still nice though because Mark brought home the prettiest arrangement of flowers which Trey is fascinated with. Trey still had to wear his "Rock my Valentine" shirt though because he looked too cute in it!

Sniffles & Sneezes...

Aunt Santana giving you your breathing treatment!
Well this week we have stayed home everyday because you have been sick. Now I thought it was just a cold because you had a cough and runny nose but that was it--you were still a happy boy all day and never had a fever! (night time was another story) Anyways I decided to take you into the doctor today just because it was Friday and I didn't want to end up in the ER over the weekend if you were not getting better--it's a GOOD thing we went because you were sicker than you let on--Bronchiolitus and RSV . I felt awful I didn't take you in sooner, but was just thanking God that you passed your oxygen test and we could go home and do breathing treatments instead of admitting you to the hospital. So they sent us home with a breathing machine and a cute little mask that looks like a rhino and we do a breathing treatment every 4 hours for 20 minutes! Now we have not even been home for an hour and you already started getting visitors!!! As you all read this please say a little prayer that Trey's airways continue to open up and his breathing gets better!

I love this picture! Mark crawled under the play mat with Trey and layed there playing with the toys with him.

Honeybears and Teething

Well Trey you had your 1st Honeybears today!!! Now of course you were not eating a pork sandwich but you were gnawing on a baby back rib, and you loved it--which is a very good thing because I foresee lots more Honeybear meals in your future. For all you other moms out there with a baby thats teething I highly recommend going and getting you some baby backs-LOL! (Yes I ate all the meat off of it first)

6 Month Well Check-Up

Today you had your 6 month check-up and it went great! You are growing up so fast!!!! They tested your interaction with people which you passed with flying colors, which I am assuming is all the interaction with your 6 aunties who can't put you down !!! You are sitting up on your own now and love to suck on your feet! You also have quit crying as much in the car thanks to your Baby Einstein CD. You are so fun to interact with now and even try to copy things... With every passing month we just love you more and more which I didn't think was possible!

Super Bowl Sunday!!!

Trey you are one lucky boy--for your first Super Bowl you got to witness the Cardinals make it!!! To watch the game we hung out at Mimi's house all day and played! This was also a very special day because during the game your Mimi and Aunties taught you how to clap!!!! Now it is just one very slow clap but you did it over and over again during the game when they would prompt you! (video down at bottom )
