San Tan Flats

I have some family in town from Minnesota (can you hear the long O lol) so we went and ate dinner at San Tan Flats tonight to give them a real western experience lol...

Yes you read that right lol! Today Boston and I attended my midwives practice home birthers picnic. Basically my midwife invites all the families of babies that she has recently delivered to one big picnic. I believe she recently just passed the 600 mark... Anyways I have 2 friends that used the same midwife so we met at the picnic so we did not feel uncomfortable because we 3 are definitely not the normal home birther. It was so nice to see Wendi (the midwife) she really is the sweetest lady and she has such a bond with all the babies--I think it is neat to see her engage with the babies because she gets so excited to see them lol--and how weird to look around at be like I delivered all these... (Mark and our 2 friends husbands all opted out of the picnic because "they did not want to hang out with all the granola's" even though Mark did love Wendi it just is not up his alley lol)

To the pumpkin patch!

This year we went to the pumpkin patch on Daddy's day off and invited GiGi ,MiMi, & Great-Grandma! I LOVE the pumpkin patch--I would love it better if it were chilly outside but I will take what I can get. So I see all these pictures of people taking their little girls to pumpkin patches in black and orange tights or orange tutus with HUGE bows so I thought what could I do for the boys????? BOW TIES!!!!! Yes I bought a pattern and went to the fabric store to find some "nerdy but cute plaid fabric" and got to sewing!!!! I LOVE them, and they each only took about 45 minutes and thats with the boys hanging on me!!!!! They turned out so cute and we got some very nice compliments on them!!!! I for sure will be making more of these!! Anyways the pumpkin patch was fun and we got the cutest pictures of the boys, and I think they had fun doing all the activities there as well! (I can not wait to go back and photoshop some of these!!)

The Family that shoots together stays together!

Ok so obviously everyone knows where we stand with GUNS lol due to my maternity pictures... Well today for our big family day we all loaded up and headed to the desert to go shooting!!! Everyone brings their guns, ammo, & snacks lol . I know lots of people would think its odd but I LOVE going!!! We are constantly saving all glass bottles or any trash that would be fun to shoot lol. I am not going to lie my favorite gun to shoot was the semi automatic assault rifle--there's no pics of that one for some reason. The boys did awesome and wore their head sets the entire time! They both ended up actually taking little naps too. The boys are seated quite a ways back for safety reasons obviously so don't go getting your panties in wad...
