9 Months...

-you LOVE driving mama's car

-You are often found holding a straw, spoon, or toothbrush

-Your 2 top front teeth have came in

-You started half jumping half crawling to where you want to go

-We started going to story time at the library

-You got the stomach flu for the first time

-You started drinking from a bottle with formula in it

-You started swim lessons

-Your hair gets curly now and requires a little product-LOL

-You walk everywhere in your walker

-You say mama and dada (you dont know what they mean but you say it)

-Every time we get in the car you take off your shoes and socks

-Your little personality is for sure showing these days--and clearly we spoiled you, but we LOVE you SOOOOO MUCH anyway!
Stats: 20 lbs 8 oz and 28 In.

Leap Frog

I have heard of the army crawl, the scoot, the drag but have never seen something like this... Trey does this move to get from point A to point B that is more like the game leap frog... Hopefully he grows out of it soon because it's not the safest thing but we cant stop him from doing it.

I know this is not my show and tell but I just made these burp cloths w/ little taggies and they turned out so CUTE!

Today Trey started swim lessons and he LOVED them. It was fun being in the pool with him and doing the little activities--but I am not going to lie when they told me to count to 3 and dunk him all the way under I was a little hesitant-lol, but minus the water he swallowed he didn't seem to mind too much. So far no tears...

Easter Sunday!

We had a WONDERFUL but busy Easter this year! We had both of our families over after church for a huge dinner! It was amazing. Mark & I stayed up cooking and baking til midnight last night then got up and went to the early church service (which all 3 of us are NOT morning people so we will not be doing that again anytime soon) then all of the family came over which is about 20 people--and we were even missing some-LOL

Coloring eggs...

Before church on Good Friday we went to MiMi & PaPa's house to color 8 dozen eggs!!!!!

8 1/2 months later...

Yes that is my child holding a bottle and drinking formula!!!!!! (For those of you who didn't know Trey hated bottles and formula) We have been working on this switch for a week now and it looks like we are making some head way!

So I have been taking some sewing lessons and was just too proud not to share what I made today!!!! Is this not the cutest baby blanket? And its sooo soft--I love it! I am so happy Trey gets a blanket that I actually made for him! Now the other man in my life wants one made for him-LOL!

First Egg Hunt I'm Sure of Many...

Today we met with our Church mom's group at the park--and held a little mini egg hunt! Of course Trey and Izzie sat and watched the others waddle around the park--Trey didn't seem to mind just sitting with his eggs though!
