Today is your 8 month birthday--and it was quite eventful! First at church we put you in the NURSERY-this is a huge deal for your crazy mother-you did wonderful though! Then we went to visit the Easter Bunny. You are so aware of things now that we were not sure how you would respond but you loved him and kept trying to pull his fur off. Then we went to your Aunt Shanel's trunk show (she is starting a clothing boutique-Royal Obsession-see the link to the right)!
Here you are with your Poppy!
Playing at MiMi & PaPa's house
You just LOVE watching those dogs!

This past weekend...
At the BBQ...
To start our weekend off we had a BBQ with 3 other couples from our church who all have young kids--let's put it this way there were 4 couples and 6 babies 18 months & younger! (That sounds scary but really it could not have been a nicer evening--the adults actually all got to sit down at one time at the table and eat together while all 6 kids were in high chairs)
Here they are all lined up...
We also attended a spring training baseball game with friends...
Hallie & the boys!

St. Patty's Day!
So this year we got to go back to our family's old tradition of having our festive dinner all together since GiGi & Poppy are now back in Phoenix!!! So of course we had corned beef and cabbage-my favorite! (I still have not figured out if Daddy or Uncle Arie actually like it or they just pretend-LOL) Trey you of course had to have your green on for today--You really do have quite the cultural background & and I can't wait for you to learn and experience all the traditions!
*Yes we even let you try the corned beef and you loved it which shocked me--good thing though!

Ostrich Festival
Here in AZ men race these ostriches bareback!!! Interesting I know...
Today after church we decided to go to the Ostrich festival--for all you out of state readers its basically like a state fair with OSTRICHES being the theme-lol- so of course it has fair food which I love! We even ate ostrich burgers. Above is Mark and Trey before the races--Trey kept laughing at his daddy today!

American Booty!
7 Months
*Still not crawling like lots of your friends (but you have quite the tummy to lift)
*Scream out of happiness all the time (this is funny because it is a high pitched squeal)
*Love all fruits/veggies except peas (can't blame you there)
*Finally you sit up!!!!!
*You wave bye-bye/hello
*Love being outside
*Will sit and watch a 30 min. Baby Einstein video
*Sleep in your crib and give me good stretches of sleep (most the time)
*Your 2 front bottom teeth have started to poke thru

Feeding the ducks...
Today with our church mom group we went to the park for lunch and then fed the ducks. Now you would think a 7 month old is too little to get anything out of that but honestly if you threw the bread right in front of him and all the ducks came really close he would laugh and laugh and wait for you to throw more bread so they'd all start moving around again. We are going to have to start visiting the ducks more often...
