13 months...

Well I didn't make it in to the doctors for your 1 year check up so we went today!!! You were 30 in tall and 23 lbs and 8 oz!!!! You have just started standing on your own this week and are thinking about taking that first step-I can see it in your eyes! I am thinking within the next couple of weeks we will have a walker. You also climb on things now which is FUN. You take your toy cars and race them all over the house--this is so cute to watch!!!

Funny story I want to remember: I had just changed your diaper and you of course took off before I could put another one on you--you headed into the kitchen realized the fridge was open and took off! Next thing I know you are standing in front of the open door and are PEEING on my produce drawers. Must have been the cool draft...

Finally...A little walking progress

So literally today is the first day that Trey has walked with his walker. We have tried to show him for the past month and he wanted no part in it so today when he did over and over again we were very excited!!! I know everyone says you don't want them to walk but give me a break he is into everything now anyway and lets be real lugging a 24lb baby around gets old!!!!!!

Trey's Dr. Seuss 1st Birthday Party

I can't believe a year ago I was holding you on my chest in the hospital totally content just looking at you--you truly have changed and made our lives more meaningful than we ever thought they could be--Daddy and I love you so much and can't wait to see what this year brings us! Now of course Mommy could not let this occasion go by without a HUGE little over the top party--I had so much fun planning your little Dr. Seuss shindig-I think it was just as fun as a wedding-lol!
